Nivalis Nights Business Progression: From Noodle Stand to Nightclub
The confirmed business roadmap: the starting noodle stand, all seven venue types, how fishing and cooking feed the climb, and the nightclub endgame.

What is the business progression in Nivalis Nights?
Every player starts the same way: you take over a noodle stand in a district squeezed by CorpSec crackdowns and a serial-killer case the police have not solved. From that stand, the officially described long game is a ladder — expansion into ramen bars, restaurants, and eventually nightclubs. This page maps the whole road as it is confirmed today, stage by stage, with a link to the deep dive for each part of the climb.
Here is the full route, drawn like a metro line — every station is a guide:
- Start Noodle stand Day one — take over the stand
- Business types All 7 confirmed venues
- Fishing Source your ingredients
- Menu Cook what sells
- City life Districts, metro & neighbors
- Goal Nightclub The endgame venue
How does each stage work?
The noodle stand — day one
The stand is not a tutorial prop; it is the premise. Official materials frame your ambition as your best weapon for climbing out of a district on the brink, and each day presents the same open choice: push the business, or push your relationships in the city. One name is already attached to the starting point — Thaddeus Carminus, the grizzled cook in Meridian Market who retires and hands his business to you. The beginner guide covers what those first days actually look like, and the characters guide collects the cast around the counter.
Choosing your venue
Seven business types are confirmed, and the ladder’s direction is explicit: noodle stand first, then progressively larger venues, with nightclubs at the top. What is not yet on the record: what each venue costs, whether upgrades convert a stand into a bar or venues are bought separately, and how many businesses you can run at once. Staff, at least, are real and increasingly concrete: the Update #1 notes reference staff taking orders and manager staff buying ingredients, and Update #2 goes further — publishing the exact priority order staff work through (serve and cook first, take new orders after, with manager-role staff delivering and buying ingredients and handling complaints, and cleaner-role staff on cleanup) and warning that single-staff venues will likely leave many customers unserved if there are too many seats. Update #3, on October 5, deepened the manager role again: hired managers now earn skill experience for trying to resolve customer complaints (with an extra bonus for a positive outcome), making ingredient orders, and delivering stock, the wait between order and delivery scales with their level (10 seconds down to 4 at max), and restock amounts stay in sync with the red Restock Ingredients quest objective that appears when an ingredient’s stock falls below 10. How much of a venue can run without you is still unmeasured. The business types guide tracks every confirmed venue type and will absorb the verified numbers the moment they exist.
Feeding the menu
A venue is only as good as its kitchen, and every food business in the game pulls ingredients from three confirmed sources: buy, grow, or catch. Fishing runs from your own boat at the docks — the fishing guide has what is locked in so far — while the menu side is already showing real dishes: the August 2026 deep-dive named Cola Chicken, Summer Salad, Meridian Pizza, and VegCoffee. The food and menu guide collects every dish official posts have shown.

The city around the counter
The ladder does not climb in a vacuum. Customers are characters with stories rather than walking wallets, spread across a vertically stacked city you navigate by taxi, metro, or your own boat — no cars — as the city guide breaks down. Relationships can deepen into friendship or romance, and after curfew the game explicitly allows the ruthless path: sabotaging competing businesses under cover of night. The feature overview lists every confirmed system, from apartments to weather.
The nightclub — endgame
The official pitch line is the roadmap in miniature: from noodle stand to nightclubs. Nightclubs are the largest venues described anywhere in the official materials — the endgame of the ladder. What remains open is everything numerical: entry cost, staff, revenue, and whether owning one ends the progression or opens a second tier of play. Those answers get written here, with dates, as they are verified in play.
How the loop feeds the ladder
Progression in Nivalis Nights is a loop, not a straight line: catch and grow ingredients → cook and serve them → grow the business that sells them → repeat, one venue bigger. Each arm of that loop has a dedicated page on this wiki, and every article carries a strip linking to the next arm — the same three stops every time:
- Source — fishing and the buy-or-grow alternatives stock your kitchen.
- Serve — the menu turns ingredients into what your venue actually sells.
- Grow — the business ladder converts revenue into the next venue up.
The design intent official materials keep returning to: what is swimming in the water and growing in your planters today shapes what your kitchen can honestly serve tomorrow — and what you can serve shapes how fast the ladder climbs.
What is confirmed and what is not
This wiki only publishes verified facts, each page dated. For the progression specifically, the confirmed layer is: the noodle-stand start, the seven business types, the stand-to-nightclub direction, the three ingredient sources, the curfew-era sabotage option, and — since Update #1 — the business and barter skill systems themselves, whose levelling that update fixed after a broken launch. The unverified layer — costs, unlocks, multi-ownership, and nightclub specifics — stays marked as such until each item is verified in the live game, which has been playable since September 29, 2026.
How this page grows from here
The game has been playable since September 29, 2026, and this roadmap gains the numbers that make it a planning tool as they are verified in play: a per-venue cost and revenue table, the unlock condition for each rung of the ladder, and the measured buy-versus-grow-versus-catch economics from actual play. Each addition will carry the date it was tested, the same discipline every page on this wiki follows — so you can tell a day-one fact from a patch-three fact at a glance. Until then, the safest reading of the ladder is the one the official materials themselves suggest: start small, cook what you can source honestly, and let the revenue decide when you climb.
