What is confirmed so far

Fishing appears in every official description of the game, which tells you something about its weight — it is framed not as a minigame bolted on, but as one of the pillars of the daily loop. Three facts are locked in:

• You fish from your boat. The docks are the gateway; the waterways of the city are the fishing grounds.
• Catches are ingredients. What you pull out of the water goes toward the dishes on your menu — one of the three official ways your kitchen gets stocked.
• It is a relaxation activity. Official materials market it in the same breath as decorating your apartment — the game’s pressure valve.

Launch week added one more confirmed structure: Update #2 replaced the icon for treasure fishing spots — an acknowledgment that the old one was confusing — and improved the stability of fishing rod physics, and Update #3 fixed a conflict between two treasure spots that had blocked one of their related quests from progressing. So treasure spots are real, distinct, and quest-bearing; what they yield and how they differ from regular spots is still awaiting verification in play.

How fishing fits the economy

Every food business in the game pulls ingredients from three sources: buy, grow, or catch. Fishing is the catch lane. The design intent is clear: catches you land yourself are ingredients you did not buy, and what is swimming in the water today shapes what your kitchen can honestly serve. How the buy-grow-catch trade-off actually prices out will be measured against your venue’s economics in the live game.

What we are waiting to verify

The game launched on September 29, 2026. The honest answer on the following is still “not yet documented” until each item is verified in play: the fish species list, whether spots differ by district or depth, day/night and weather effects on catches, any rod or tackle upgrades, and whether rare fish feed special recipes.
